Job Description
As a crucial component of the Public Health Services team, the Public Health Nurse (PHN):
- offers nursing services in accordance with the Population Health/Health Promotion paradigm.
- Utilize universal and focused interventions, programs, and advocacy to translate health and social scientific information to promote health-promoting behaviours for a range of people, families, and population groups.
- provides services to people, families, and communities in homes, schools, and outreach centres.
Knowledge, skills, and talents unique to primary healthcare, epidemiology, community development, health promotion, socioeconomic determinants of health and sickness, and disease and injury prevention are all part of the job.
Workdays could be Monday through Friday from 08:15 to 16:45.
Hourly Wage
$41.42 – $55.91
